Pray With Me

I have been a member of the Blue Army for about six years. I received this notice from them - will you join me in praying this novena?

The Vatican recently announced that on October 13, 2013, Pope Francis will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. To mark the occasion, the Holy Father is having the statue of Our Lady that stands on the site of the apparitions in Fatima shipped to Rome. You can read the entire story at http://www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=18797. In support of the Holy Father, all members and friends of the World Apostolate of Fatima USA and people throughout the world are invited to participate in a 54-day Rosary Novena, beginning on September 16th and ending on November 8th. The first 27 days of the novena will serve as a time to petition Our Lady leading up to the consecration. The following 27 days will be days of thanksgiving for all the blessings given to us through Her intercession. Stay tuned next week for another email with the full details of the novena, including links to the prayers, on the home page of www.bluearmy.com. In the meantime, please continue to pray for the apostolate, for the intentions of Pope Francis and for the conversion of all souls to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts. And don’t forget to share this with as many people as you can through your address book and social channels!

Feast of the Assumption

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
